Parks and Recreation

To the Town of Eaton and surrounding area residents. I wanted to send out an update about the new Town of Eaton park that will be (pending voter approval) located next to the Morrisville Elementary School and the SUNY Morrisville athletic field. We have been working hard on moving this project forward behind the scenes for months and are excited to announce that the Morrisville Eaton School Board has passed a resolution that (upon an approved referendum by district voters) will transfer the proposed property to the Town. This will be going to a vote in January and we would expect to have a ground breaking in the spring. In addition, there will be upcoming public meetings in the winter to review more details. The Town still has two grants that will fund the creation of the space and are working on more funding opportunities as well.
